Metal Queen Excluder

The Galvanized metal queen excluder is meant to contain thequeen below the excluder.   The excluder allows thecolony to move freely but doesn’t allow the queen to laybrood into the honey supers.  
The metal queen bee excluder serves as a selective barrier inside the hive, limiting where the queen and drones can travel.  
The queen excluder is meant to keep the queen out of the honey supers, as if she lays eggs in the honey supers, it will be hard to harvest clean honey.   This metal queen excluder is placed over the brood chamber.   The screen is wide enough to let the workers through, but too narrow for the queen.   It features a stainless steel screen and galvanized binding.
