The nest foundation is the foundation of the artificial bee hive. It is divided into two types: worker honeycomb foundation and male honeycomb foundation, which are made of beeswax or non-toxic plastic and other materials, and are pressed by nest foundation machine or flat nest foundation embossing machine.
Beekeeping is inseparable from the nest foundation, but, beekeepers, do you know how to do it? Will you do it yourself? Very simple, introduce the simple process of making nest foundation
1: Wax
Dissolve the prepared wax (preferably with an iron pot). After the wax boils, pour it into another container for precipitation. The purpose is to filter impurities and make the beeswax pure.
2: The production of wax plate
Make a horizontal support frame, lay a larger floor tile on it, inlay with wooden strips or angle iron, boil soapy water (or diluted washing powder, detergent) with a towel, put it on one side, pour it into Wax water, thickness 5-7mm,After the wax water is cooled, use a blade to cut the wax plate into a size of 24 cm wide and 30 cm long, pour cold water to get off the platform
3: The production of wax slices
Remove the cooled wax plate and soak it in hot water. When the temperature inside and outside is the same, take it out and enter the calender to press the wax sheet.
The extruded wax sheet (thickness is 1.4 mm, medium bee 1.2 mm) is formed in a cold water tank
Then take it out and cut it into 37 cm long wax sheets
4: suppress the nest foundation
Put the wax flakes into hot water and heat it to about 20 degrees, and then enter the nest foundation machine to press (before using the nest foundation machine, apply hot water to heat the aluminum roller to about 20 degrees, and use a brush to brush with soapy water. The front end of the wax piece is packed with plastic pieces, and the pressed nest foundation is gently peeled off along the upper roller.
5: Cut and shape
The pressed nest foundation can be cut to the required length according to the size you need, and then it can be packaged.
