The import amount is 11.303446 million US dollars, up 18.3% year on year in 2020 and 19.18% year on year in 2019. As can be seen from the import data, although the market economy has been affected by the COVID-19 epidemic in the past two years, the total amount of imported bee products in China has been increasing year by year. After a brief decline in 2020, the total volume of imports in 2021 has been basically the same as that in 2019.
Among them, China imported the most honey, up to 4809.45 tons, accounting for 93.5% of the total imported bee products in China, and the import amount also accounted for 93.1% of the total import amount. From the data of imported honey for three consecutive years, it can be seen that the amount of imported honey in China has not been affected by the epidemic in these two years and has maintained a continuous growth for three consecutive years. Especially in 2020, although the amount of imported honey has decreased, the amount of imported honey has not decreased but increased. Followed by beeswax, imported 287.93 tons, accounting for 5.6% of China's total import; Other bee products ranked third, with 38.9 tons of imported quantity, accounting for 0.76% of the total. Imports of fresh royal jelly, royal jelly preparations, royal jelly freeze-dried powder and bee pollen were small, with a total import of 5.71 tons.
